I really, really, really HATE not having help(F1) in MS. I don't always have internet. So When I have a problem, I just have to stop programming until I do or I have to do some other programming.

Is there a way to add help to my current version(15.0.24)?

Is this in the help section?

F1 still launches context sensitive help, but we moved to online help quite some time ago.

Couldn't a fallback to a local CHM file be an option?

No, CHM was deprecated years ago. WinHelp is also no longer provided by Microsoft. While it _may_ be possible to make it work with sufficient old unsupported libraries it means a lot of extra bulk and that's before the size of the help itself - Macro Scheduler's help is large. But we also have to maintain it. Producing a standalone help system means any changes require a build and deploy of each piece of software. Whereas the modern online help system can be updated at any time. I don't know of any other development environment or language that includes an offline help system or manual. And I can see why. Sorry but it just isn't worth our while spending time and money on finding, building and maintaining the software with an in-built help system.

Best we could do is offer a PDF version, but, while that will allow you to view the documentation, it won't give you context sensitive help. Give us a few days and we will see if we can generate a PDF document for you to download. It may not look beautiful, but will see what we can do.

I think you can jump to bookmarks using switches: https://pdfobject.com/pdf/pdf_open_parameters_acro8.pdf

That way it would be context aware.

I'm sure you can. It's not going to happen though. There's no way we can maintain a context aware PDF file and build that into the software. If 75% of our customer base had no internet we might consider it!

There used to be and likely still are freeware programs out there for downloading entire websites. I don't plan to do this myself, but I can envision a plan where one might use one of those on a regular basis while connected to the internet to download the Macro Scheduler help site. Then write a Macro Scheduler script that intercepts the F1 key and references the local version of help.
