Outlook Processing new messages

Post by toopnad » Mon Apr 12, 2021 10:49 am

The task is simple:
1.open Outlook, check only new messages, Of all messages that contain excel files starting with the word "Request" (Request * .xlsx), you need to save the attachments in the desired folder: (D: \ Exchange \ Robotization \ Robo_mail \ Answers)
Please write the code with comments if you have a minute for 'Newbie'

Automating Outlook can be quite challenging and cumbersome. Luckily, we don't need to. By far the best way of doing this is to automate the incoming email with RetrievePop3.

This will save any attachments wherever you like, and there is a usage example at the URL linked above.

A very elegant and simple solution, but I do not understand how I can sort the letters into the necessary ones and not.

You probably also need to set the PORT number. Maybe this will help:

However, you should consult your email provider's docs to find out what settings are required.
