So, I ran GFL14, on Samples folder, and saw no sorting.
I ran GFL15, on Samples folder, and saw sorting.
So, I ran the script that you provided for the compiler, and ran it on my 14, GOOD Sorting.
So, I compiled the script, and ran the EXE, again GOOD sorting. Here is a link to my compiled version in case you want to try it on your system: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o4uc7cbiyh8zy ... b.exe?dl=0 That might help to see if my version of 14 runs on your system, because yours does not.
So, nothing I have done here has allowed me to duplicate your problem. And your videos show it is a REAL problem. The testing I did with your scripts was not on saved emails, so I no longer feel that the problem is with the email saving process, and don't need your emails.
My thoughts now are a problem with your 14, and maybe you need to remove it, and reinstall it.
Or, could there be a problem with 14/15 both installed on the same system? If you remove 15, does 14 now run OK?
Not much else I can do,but I m sure you will find the cause, and the solution. So please keep us up to date on your progress. It's been fun, but disappointing with no understanding, yet.
Good luck.

Re: GFL_SORTTYPE
Hi,
Actually, I don't have 14 and 15 on the same machine. That is a very specific symptom to have as a result of a bad install. I'm more inclined to think that it was some oversight on my version, and was corrected in a later release.
Unless something else crops up, I'm inclined to live with it. This version also doesn't have the Chrome functionality, so should I ever uninstall it, I'm sure to replace it with 15 or beyond.
Interesting little exercise huh? TTYL.

Hey Dorian, where were you on March 3?
I bet you were just sitting back and laughing as we went thru hoops and proved that we both were right. He had a real problem. And I could not duplicate it.
At least I came up with a utility to change the times on files so they would sort properly if all saved at the same time. Never thought about that possibility happening.
It was interesting, so on to another challenge.

Sometimes it takes me a while for the penny to drop too. It can be hard to see the wood for the trees. It was your comparison of v14 and v15 that actually gave me the eureka moment.
