Start time of scripts reset when box is rebooted?

Post by IXIS » Wed Aug 18, 2004 5:18 pm

Hello Gang,

One thing that I just noticed... when i reboot the box that my scripts are running on, even if the scripts are not actively running, the start time is reset to the time that the box comes back up. Is this correct? and is there anything that can be done to prevent this? Will exporting these scripts as .exe files prevent that?

Depends on how you have the recovery options set up for the schedules. Look under Advanced in Run When options for each script.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

I should have posted this before, but that was the first thing i did. All settings are as they should be so that the scripts always run on schedule, and not to start right away if the time was missed. But, for some reason If i reboot the machine the time is reset to the time that MSched is started again (on boot). Don't know if it makes any difference, but this is running on Windows Server 2003.
