Script fails in ver 15 but works in 14

I am having trouble getting a compiled script to work that uses ftp. I posted it looking for help. In trying to get it to work I upgraded my version of MS, it does not work in ver 15 but does in ver 14.

In trouble shooing I have reduced it to just compiling 2 lines the get and result so it is not something else in the larger script.

Example of failing script. Keep in mind this works in ver 14 but fails when compiled - it used to work when compiled but not anymore. It does not work in ver 15 compiled or not. To test it you need a folder c:\temp. There are no files in the folder so it will return a message box saying "Success" and then open a blank text file (there are no files in the folder).

Also in the help file the link to OpenSSL fails and MS ver 15 does not seem to use the latest ver of OpenSSL

I will change the password once this is corrected.

Got it, with ver 15 you have to specifically go into windows firewall and allow it. You didn't have to do that with ver 14.

From experience with Windows Firewall you've ALWAYS had to do that with ALL apps that do a networking thing.

I'm still having issues. I can't get it to work on port 921. I have opened the port and I have tried every option. Is there anyway i could privately send you the settings and script and have you take a look.

Thank you, but I got it to work on one machine so it is not a MS error. For troubleshooting what I did was use FileZilla and when it logged in I saw what it was using for settings and specified them in MS. That was one machine; I still had errors on others. I ended up recompiling everything and updating the versions of OpenSSL. In other words on some machines you need the later version of OpenSSL. I still may have some issues but I think I have got it.
