Is it somehow possible to access this info from MS? I would like to have my customers windows units tracked within their building using BLE. Today I use the AP/BSSID for this but it's a bit crude.
iBeacon, possible to get info?

Not really sure what you are asking - what information are you trying to retrieve? What is this API for?

Re: iBeacon, possible to get info?
The beacons transmit a signal that is possible to translate as a distance. Using simple triangulation (3 or more beacons) and we get a position. Essentially it's local gps.
Currently I do the same but using the wifi signal from multiple access points. But since the signal is so strong the position isn't very reliable.
