Image capture does not work

Post by Liberty » Sat Dec 20, 2014 10:58 am

I have MS 14.1 on a laptop with 8.1

To click on buttons I often use the image tool.
Now, suddenly, the resolution of the page to capture changes
when you click capture (much bigger zoom.
This means that findpicture function will never find the button in the script.

What to do? Urgent.

I have switched to mouse goto instead.

This may be due to font scaling. There's one known issue in Win7 and Win8 only when font size is set to 150% (In Win8 - Display Settings - Display Objects at 150%). It is fine at 125% or lower. Check what yours is set to. I'm afraid if you are using 150% the only solution at present is to reset to 125%, or lower (normal).

I use 175%in IE 11 on this modern ASUS laptop (4th i7) with 8.1 and touch screen.
I could maybe use 125% in this application.
How do I change forth and báck in MS 14?

Thank you Marcus.

No reply to my last question.

Is such a change impossible?

I think it should be possible to use 150/175 % in image capture in MS14 -
often you have several computers which use the same scripts.

As per my last response there is currently a problem with anything above 125%. We still haven't figured out the cause of this but it is on the list. For now only 125% or lower is supported.
