I am using Macro Scheduler v14.0.6 with WebRecorder v4.01. My OS is Windows 7 x64 with browser IE9.
When I start MacroRecorder and click on Favorites all of my IE9 favorites show up correctly. When I click on any individual favorite, nothing happens and nothing shows up in the URL bar. This happens for all of my favorites. Can anyone else reproduce this ?

Strange. When I click on a favorite website, Webrecorder does create an IE instance with IECreate but an empty URL (no IENavigate code is generated either). Same thing happens when booting Windows 7 in safe mode. Also it doesnt matter if I start Webrecorder from the start menu or from the Macro Scheduler Edit/tools menu, the problem is there in both cases. Any ideas as to what might be the issue here ??

I'm on Win 7 Ultimate 32bit running MS v14.0.6 can't reproduce it either, maybe a re-install might be required.

I tried backing up, deleting all favorites, and creating just one new favorite. The problem remains

. I booted up an old desktop with Macro Scheduler 11 and WebRecorder v2.4 and the problem exists there also. Win7 and IE9 are common to my current and older desktops.

What language operating system are you using? Have your fav's been installed to a non default location within windows?

I am using Windows 7 Pro x64 English (United States) language. My favorites are installed in the default location. I noticed when I click on a favorite it does create an entry in the webrecorder url bar but its an empty entry. I can see this by clicking on the pull down menu tab.
I also experimented a bit and enabled the Guest account feature in control panel / User accounts. After switching to the new guest account and creating a few favorites I tried webrecorder and the favorites worked ! So something that I have done in my normal windows account is preventing web recorder from using favorites correctly.
