"550 not a directory" with FTPPutfile and FTPGetFi

Post by Dorian (MJT support) » Sat Jan 16, 2010 8:40 pm

Hi guys,

I used to be around here a lot a few years ago, and have recently resumed business. I am trying to get some of my old macros working, but some of them are now generating errors.

Does anyone know why the following would be generating the same error?

FTPPutFile>website.com,user,password,21,c:\gary.htm,/web/gary.htm,A

FTPGetFile>website.com,user,password,21,k:\my documents\logfiles\maillognewtype-%the_year%-%the_month%-%the_day%.rar,/home/sites/www.website.com/web/tars/maillog.tar,I

550-/web/gary.htm: Not a directory
550-/home/sites/www.website.com/web/tars/weblog.tar: Not a directory

I can successfully upload and download files when using a regular FTP client.. i only get these errors with Macro Scheduler

Hi,

Are you using v11? If so the FTP functions have changed slightly. Remote dir and filename are now separate fields, so you need a comma between them. Please see the release notes:

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Ah ha! Thank you Marcus. I truly believe your support is the best I have ever had the pleasure to find.

For those of you who are using the trial version of this software, or haven't taken the plunge yet, I have to say that this is the best macro software out there, backed up by an honest and hard working man.

I have owned Macro Scheduler for over a decade, and still think it is the best software I have ever purchased. I find it very rewarding to see how MJT has thrived over the years. Very well deserved IMHO.

It's great to be back!
