Linux installed via VMWare. Can Macroscheduler control linux

Im looking at getting linux installed on via VMWare server free version
does anyone know whether macroscheduler will able to control the
linux virtual machine?

Lets say macroscheduler is running on my windows vista, can it control linux?

Any comments would be great!

Yes, Macro Scheduler running on your machine can automate a virtual environment accessible by your machine. Of course a lot will depend on the type of application you need to drive. But yes, Macro Scheduler can send keystrokes and mouse events into the virtual environment and can use image recognition to watch it's screen. It won't be able to detect text or access UI objects at a lower level of course. With a virtual or remote environment you simply send keys/mouse in one direction and are sent a graphic of the screen in another.
