Macro Scheduler Scripts & Tips 10 Year Anniversary Competition

Submit a script or tip for inclusion into the Scripts & Tips forum and if it is selected we will give you your next upgrade for free*.

Scripts/Tips you submit must be easily portable and should demonstrate a scripting technique and/or do something useful. We are looking for examples that other people will learn or benefit from, either because the script itself does something useful, or by demonstrating a function or coding technique. It could be a useful administrative tool, or it could demonstrate an unusual function, or even a feature you feel needs a better example than the ones supplied with the software and documentation.

Submissions will be reviewed by our panel of judges consisting of MJT staff and user representatives Dick Lockey (JRL) and John Puzianowski (JPuziano) who use Macro Scheduler “in the wildâ€Â

This is awesome!

I have a few questions though.

1) What if someone doesn’t have a pro license, will they get a Macro Scheduler Pro Personal license if his or her script gets picked?
2) How many scripts do you plan on selected?
3) Will the author get the credit if his or her script gets picked and posted in the Scripts & Tips forum?

I think those are all the questions I have.

Thanks,

Rain

I'm not sure I understand your question. The prize is a year of upgrade protection thus ensuring your next upgrade is free. This is not something exclusive to Macro Scheduler Pro. Whatever edition you have now, you'll get a free upgrade to the next version if your script is selected.

We will select as many as are submitted that we judge suitable.

Yes, of course, the author will get credited. You will notice that all existing entries in Scripts & Tips mention the author's name. We can also include a website link and email address if wanted.

Thanks I understand now. It went right over my head when I read your announcement

Thank you for answering my other questions as well.
