I have a ton of CD's with MP3 files. I know how to get a list of files on each CD but is there away I can get the CD name and other attributes automatically so I can make a text file name with this information and then make a database?

I would suggest you try some vbscript code to get disk drive info...

I found an example of obtaining disk drive info and writing it to a text file at this URL

let me know if you need some help with the VBScript...not an expert, but can usually work through it.
