Simulating load on a web server

Post by lebrocoli » Thu Jul 03, 2008 4:16 pm

Hi,

In this document: 'Automated Load Testing' at
http://www.mjtnet.com/loadtesting.pdf, they talk about virtual machines to simulates a multi-user environment. I am not sure if I want to do that.

Using the Web Recorder/MS, is there another way to simulate the load of many users connecting to a web server?

Thanks

You could have multiple compiled macros running at once, assuming they are using the WebRecorder runtime and not trying to send keystrokes.
