Clean uninstall of MS

Post by mo » Sun Apr 02, 2006 5:15 pm

I am getting persistant hangups using MS and I think this is caused by unclean installs. I would like to start from scratch, but none of my versions are listed in Add Remove Programs.

How do I go about a complete uninstall? Scripts and everything!
Best Wishes!

I think you only need to manually remove the entire C:\Program Files\MJT Net Ltd\Macro Scheduler and subfolders, and remove the entire Registry branches from the Registry Tree, under HKCU\Software\MJTNET\MSched.

Be careful if you have other MJTNet products that you do not also remove those Directory Folders or Registry Branches.

CAUTION: Removing all the subfolders may also remove your macro scripts, depending on where they are located. So you should copy the scripts to another location, not under the Macro Scheduler Tree branches.

You may also want to copy the macros.dat, group.dat, group.ini files so you can read them and reconstruct the settings.
Hope this was helpful..................good luck,
Bob

Thanks Bob,

In addition to the above I ran Norton WinDoctor 3 times to remove various shortcuts, etc.
