Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had worked out how to put up a symbol or dialog while MS is doing its magic - mainly to confirm to the user that something is happening.
I can see that non-modal dialogs could be used but I have a problem with using these (documented in beta fb) and thought that maybe someone had a solution before v7.3.
Thanks,
Kathryn
Creating an hourglass type dialog

Hourglass
Hi,
Thanks - yes I utilize the flashing tray.
But I was looking for something a lot less subtle for my users. I would like something that is very obvious to the user - to let them know not to touch the dialogs which MS is automatically going to fill-in and to let them know that MS is servicing their menu choice... but with some delay.
I was thinking that changing the cursor to an hourglass may work... as the solution would have to allow MS to continue inputting to various dialogs and windows.
Thanks,
Kathryn
