Windows XP Event Viewer

Post by Dan » Fri Jan 11, 2008 7:09 pm

Started my first "real" macro to open the Event Viewer to select each log file, open and delete logs. Got stuck right after the second line and can't figure out what to do next. Macro opens the Event Viewer just fine but, no matter what approach I use, the macro will not move the selection bar down to the first menu bar (Application). When I click the run button, and the Event Viewer comes up just fine and then just sits there? I can use the arrow keys and tab keys on my keyboard and move around in the window just fine, just won't respond to movement commands from the macro. Sure that I'm doing something wrong, just can't figure out what. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanx,
Dan

Does your script WaitWindowOpen then SetFocus the Event Viewer window before sending the keystrokes?

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
