Which version of Macro Scheduler are you running?

Check under Tools/Options. If your version supports it you can see/set which keystroke is used to pause scripts.

The ability to Pause was added in version 7.4. If you have 7.3 you can upgrade to 7.4 for free at the registered downloads area.
