Tried v13:'a monitor program has been found" by WinLice

Post by Dick99999 » Mon Jan 14, 2013 1:12 pm

Since I have some difficulties with capturing text in v12, I tried v13. Install went OK. When v13 starts, a message is displayed:
'A monitor program has been found running in your system. Please unload it ...."
It seems this message is cumming from:
nlsX86cc This service enables products that use the Nalpeiron Licensing System. Nalpeiron Ltd. c:\windows\system32\nlssrv32.exe.

Is this a known compatibility issue? I disabled that service and can now run v13. Don't know the consequences for other programs though.

We don't use Nalpeiron. Never heard of it. Nor is nlssrv32.exe anything to with us. No idea what WinLice is either. I suggest you contact them.

Do you know what program installed and uses the Nalpeiron Licensing System (NLS) software? You will probably have to contact that company or worst case scenario contact the people at Nalpeiron at http://www.nalpeiron.com. If you don't know which application uses the NLS, just kill the process (nlssrv32.exe) and when you eventually run the program that installed NLS, you will know because that program probably won't run or it will complain about not being registered etc when it checks to see if NLS is running to verify its license.
Best Wishes,

We don't use Nalpeiron. I'm not sure what the problem is here.
