Hi,
does anybody know how to set the focus to an application with a variable window_title? It is no problem if the variable part is at the end because of the asterisk (*), but in Outlook it is at the beginning. The titles are (in my german version)
'Posteingang - Microsoft Outlook' (what means Inbox) or
'Gesendete Objekte - Microsoft Outlook' (Sent Objects).
Can anybody help me?
Best regards
Criss

Hi,
Like this:
SetFocus>Microsoft Outlook*
The asterisk just says 'find the first window which CONTAINS the preceeding text regardless of case and position'.
As the documentation says: "If it cannot make an exact match it then looks at all windows and sets focus to the first one it finds whose title contains the entered text."
Note that it looks for a title that *contains* the text - the position is irellevent. It isn't like a filename wildcard.
