Generation of many temp files in MacroScheduler directory

I run a backup script at 2:58 am which renames old backup files and then runs pkzip (DOS version) to backup latest data. Script:
Wait>1
Let>RP_WINDOWMODE=2
Let>RP_WAIT=1
Let>MF_RENAME=1
DeleteFile>E:\OPTDAT~2\OI\OI_BACKUP15.ZIP
MoveFile>E:\OPTDAT~2\OI\OI_BACKUP14.ZIP,E:\OPTDAT~2\OI\OI_BACKUP15.ZIP

All seems to work fine - backups get done, doesn't bomb, etc. The actual current PKZIPed files OI_BACKUP has a time stamp of 3:00 and VL_BACKUP has a time stamp of 3:04 am. However, when I look in my recycled bin (Windows XP) I see that there are 1311 temp files with names like adaecffa (no extension). adaecffg (no extension) etc. Total file size for all is about 80 MB. All Files are a size of 64,488 bytes, and all have time stamps between 3:00 and 3:04am. These files have been deleted to the recycle bin (at least out of active file/memory) but are certainly cluttering up my recycle bin - causing me to manually dump it more often. If they were generated by the pkzip program I would think they would be in that directory - not c:\program files\macro scheduler. One last piece of info - I use Norton utilities which has Norton Unerase working that catches some things that simple Windows does not.

So, does anybody know what MSched is doing - if anything - to generate all these temp files in the Macro Scheduler directory? Is there a fix or do I just keep manually dumping my recycle bin more frequently?

Thanks

Dave

Macro Scheduler itself doesn't create any temp files so I think this must be pkzip .. or something else.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't see how it was MSched but then again, nothing else makes sense either!
