We've just started getting this error over the past few days:
"Invalid at the top level of the doument. Line 1. ERROR: Unable to connect to mysql server"
HOWEVER...MySQL is not installed on this machine, and none of our scripts have database calls. None of the logging for any of the scripts indicate an error. The scripts include ONERROR routines that notifies an administrator, yet this error isn't getting trapped.
The error dialog is modal and blocks any other scripts from running, which is a problem.
