script encryption

Post by snapper1969 » Thu Apr 28, 2011 8:57 am

Hi,

I've just encrypted a macro to see what it looked like. I then unticked the encrypt box but the script still looks encrypted. Any ideas?
Regards,

John

I'm also having this problem.
When I try to encrypt a macro, I get a pop-up message saying:
"Cannot create file. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

But when I return to the main control window, there IS a lock symbol next to the macro that I just tried to encrypt.

Also, as snapper1969 is experiencing, I can't remove the encryption, play the macro, or even edit it because its just garbled letters & symbols.

Lucky I just backed up my macros!

I can confirm the exact same behavior on my machine.

I can confirm there is an issue in the latest version with Encryption which is now fixed in development. I would advise people not to use Encryption until the fix is released.
