Hi,
Hope someone can help. I have a few scripts that rely quite heavily on image recognition to a few remote PCs, Problem I have is the remote software has now decided it wants to change a couple of display settings every time I log in. This of course means my images don't get recognised!
I manually check the settings now but is there a way I can programmatically check :
"Show shadows under menus"
"Show window contents when dragging" (Probably wont need this)
"Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation"
All these options are under XP Display properties/appearence/effects
help changing display settings XP

If you're using Remote Desktop wouldn't this only need setting once as it would be stored in your profile so that next time you log in it will be as before - just as Windows is?
Or is the problem that other people are logging in under the same profile and changing things?
