couldnt focus 'system restore' window

Post by jiby » Wed Dec 15, 2010 3:18 am

hi,

I am using Macro Scheduler 12. On windows 7-32 bit machine,

I issued

Run>rstrui
WaitWindowOpen>System Restore
SetFocus>System Restore

'SetFocus' doesnt focus on the 'System Restore' window. I could see the entry in 'Tools' -> 'View System Windows' -> 'Open windows' windows. But somehow, I couldnt even push the buttons in that 'System Restore' window.

Some one please tell me how I can get access to this window.

Thanks in advance.

My guess is that System Restore is running as admin and Macro Scheduler is not. Windows 7/Vista does not allow a non-admin process to interact with an admin one. If I'm right start Macro Scheduler with admin rights (right click on Macro Scheduler icon and choose Run as Admin).
