Regular Crash while running script- Closing Window Explorer

Post by Niroj@Work » Fri Jun 25, 2010 12:01 pm

Frequently, while running the script (both before and after compilation) the an error like "To protect your computer window is closing Window Explorer" message is being displayed. After this the system is getting hanged.

Could you please check. It is quite irritating.

Current Version I am using: 11.1.23

Hi,

I have never seen this error message before. I have run many scripts in 11.1.23 both compiled and uncompiled and not seen this. Also strange that the error is to do with Windows Explorer. Windows Explorer is crashing, not Macro Scheduler.

What operating system are you running?

We use the same OS for development. Never had any issues running scripts with v11.1.23. Obviously if there was a general issue with Windows Explorer crashing when running macros (compiled or otherwise) we'd surely know about it. But 11.1.23 plus XP SP3 is a popular combination.

So something else going on here. Is it all scripts, or one particular script? Why is it effecting Windows Explorer? Do you have any anti-virus or other security software running which might be trying to do something to Macro Scheduler/the compiled macro?

Have you enabled logging and if so does the script get anywhere and if so how far, and to what point?
