How to get the main window to remember it's location & s

Post by KWiz » Sun Mar 08, 2009 4:16 pm

Every time I reboot my computer, and start Macroscheduler, it starts up as a relatively tiny window, and I have to stretch it out. So that's part of the problem. The other part of the problem is that it doesn't remember the width of the columns that I had specified earlier. Is there a way to get Macroscheduler to remember this info?

Thanks,
KWiz

All I can tell you is that those settings are stored here in the Registry:
CURRENT_USER\Software\MJTNET\MSched11\

Or there could be a permissions issue where you cannot update the registry for some reason. What OS are you using, what version of Macro Scheduler?

If they are not updating, then you may need to uninstall, manually clean the registry, and reinstall. But if this is a permissions problem, that still won't allow you to keep the updated values.
Hope this was helpful..................good luck,

I'm using MS11, and I have WinXP SP3.

I'm the administrator of my computer (I'm the only one using it), so I have "permissions"..(?). Maybe I don't know how to apply them, but I have them, lol.

I looked at the Registry keys. Interesting. For whatever reason, they weren't all there until I just reinstalled Macroscheduler 11. Everything is working fine now. But the keys weren't all there before, especially the Column keys. None of the column keys were there. Only the MacroPropsHeight was there, and the Width and Max. And some of the other ones, but no columns keys. I wonder why?

Anyways, I reinstalled it and it is working properly now, so thanks!

Can't explain why they were missing, but glad you are running OK now.
