SMTP and Priorities / importance

Post by Rory » Thu Dec 06, 2007 10:35 pm

Is it possible to set the priority or importance when sending e-mail with SMTPSendMail?

there is an X-Priority: 3 line in the header of the received message
I am using Outlook for the recipients and do not see where this is when I send or recieve.

I've never used Outlook so I don't know how, but what you want to do is view header information. You will find X-Priority: in an email's header.

To view headers in Outlook right click on the message in the mailbox list and click Message Options. At the bottom of the dialog that then pops up you'll see "Internet Headers". In there are all the mail headers.
