"Unable to write to [path]\My Documents\Macro Scheduler 14\runstats.ini."
Then the macro hangs forever.
I have no doubt it's related to the incompetent admin in this office. I do not want MS to have to use that network folder. I'd prefer something local. Please help.

Re: MS Error
That's the standard Macro Scheduler data location. Normally in My Documents. But you can change it under Tools/Options.

Re: MS Error
Sadly, I cannot even open MS to change the path. Upon opening MS I get the error:
"Copy Folder
The [path]\My Documents folder does not exist. The file might have been moved or deleted.
Do you want to create it?"
There are buttons for Yes and No. Then I get the error:
"msched.exe
Unable to create the folder 'My Documents\'
The system cannot find the path specified."
There's an OK button. The final error is:
"msched.exe
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
The only button available is "Close program."
I have local admin access.

Re: MS Error
Search for groups12.ini you should be able to change the path in that INI file.

Re: MS Error
You might want to try removing/renaming the entire "Macro Scheduler 14" folder in "My Documents". Rename it temporarily, re-create a fresh empty one, then try restarting Macro Scheduler. Hopefully that will get it started, empty.
Copy comdef.ini over from the old one or Program Files/Macro Scheduler 14/Samples
Once you've got it started you can import your macros over from the old folder.
