When I try to close MS 15.0.21 I get this error, "Stream read error."
The only option is to click OK to close the error message. MS does not close.
I just restarted Windows 10 as I was having this error before the restart.
"Stream read error."

Another error I'm periodically getting is
"Unable to write to C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Macro Scheduler 15\runstats.ini."
The file exists at that path and I can manually edit that INI.

The only other forum/support threads I can find relating to this are very old, but suggest reinstalling may fix it. It looks like you're using 15.0.21 but have access to 15.0.24.
So maybe a starting point would be to install 15.0.24 over the top of 15.0.21 and see if that fixes it.
If it doesn't, then uninstall and try a fresh installation of 15.0.24.

Installation hangs on the error:
"Destination Folder Access Denied
You need permission to perform this action
bak"

It's really frustrating and time consuming to have to import all macros and re-assign shortcuts to each.Dorian (MJT support) wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 3:48 pmIf it doesn't, then uninstall and try a fresh installation of 15.0.24.
Uninstalling and reinstalling yielded this error:
"Exception EIniFileException in module msched.exe at 00073F1D.
Unable to write to C:\Users\[path]\Documents\Macro Scheduler 15\groups12.ini."
(There is no groups12.ini file at that path.)
I think the error is occurring after the installation while launching MS.
EDIT: changing the registry's DataDir path (HKCU\Software\MJTNET\MSched[xx]) to anything outside the Windows 10 "Documents" folder seems to have fixed the error. It worked with both C:\test and D:\test in admin and normal modes.
