How do I copy text into my script as a variable?

What is the best way to copy text from an application and bring it into my script as a variable? The text is in the same location and GetTextInRect does not seem work.

Try the text capture wizard to see if you can capture the text using a few different ways, if you can capture it, it should be available using the defined variable.
