Hi Bob,
I have never needed to use the SetFocus command with this, however, it had crossed my mind this may have been the issue and I have previously added it in and tried to run the script. Makes no difference.
Any other thoughts, please?

More problems with AutoLogon. Currently using MS v9.1.05 on XP SP2. I have successfully used a login script for quite a long time. The PC I log into shuts down the monitor under a power saving feature which I don't have access to change due to an enforced screen saver policy. When it has powered dow...

Hi Marcus, Thank you for the pointers. The scheduler service had shut off. I hadn't thought to check it as every previous MS upgrade I have done has not impacted this at all. I re-set the MS Scheduler Service to automatic and re-started it. The PC logged in correctly this morning so everything appea...

Hi, Using XP SP2. I have just upgraded to MS version 9.1.04. I have short script set up to simply log me into the workstation each morning so that other scripts can run at their scheduled times. This worked fine every day until I performed the upgrade last week. Nothing else has changed. I've been t...

Ooookaaay, Not having a lot of luck with the pixel colour change code as I am finding other obstacles the SAP application is throwing at me. So, I've given in and installed 9.1.04 to give me WaitScreenImage with a timeout function. When SAP does the colour change thing, it also provides different ic...

Hi Marcus, Thank you for the code assistance, I will try it right now. As for the version ... I am aware of the update and have downloaded it. I just simply haven't got around to installing. I may never get around to it as my job has just been made redundant and I exit in 3 weeks unless there is a m...

Thank you all for your responses. I tried JRL's suggestion for Send>%result% and it worked! I had previously tried PutClipBoard>%result% with no joy and hadn't thought to try Send. If anyone else is interested in answers to the other questions: Yes, there is a line feed/carriage return at the end. I...

Hi Marcus, With Macro Scheduler open, the macro names and some details are listed on screen. These have icons to the left of the name. Where I have previously successfully removed the tick from the "Allow Scheduler Service to Run this Macro" box, the icon changes in the list to indicate this - it sh...

Can you uncheck it at all, or is the check returning? I can uncheck the box. Click OK, then OK again. The icon state does not change and when I look in the Properties, the check box has re-ticked. I have logged right out, rebooted, logged back in manually and this stays the same. Which version of M...

Can't remove tick from Scheduler Service option
Hello again, I seem to have an issue with the Scheduler Service option. By default, a new macro has the option for "Allow Scheduler Service to Run this Macro" ticked by default. There are lots I don't want the Scheduler Service to run so I have unticked this box. This is indicated in the main window...

Hi Marcus, ShutDownWindows>4 worked. I am still interested in knowing why the first option fails intermittently. I scheduled the macro to run tonight while I sat and watched. PC unlocked, Start menu activated, the Restart window appeared, the PC re-locked without shutting down. I added Wait>5 to the...

I am now getting the Access Violation error using the standard keyboard-emulating ShutDownWindows at the end of the day ... but not every time. All other scheduled macros run okay. The log for this one says it has run through the scripted steps but Windows is not shutting down. I have tried to re-ru...
