As you've not said what is wrong with your script I'm guessing from the private msg you sent me...

You're missing a couple of "the_" on your MidStr line for the Year calc. That should read:

MidStr>the_year,3,2,the_year

Hororscopes, I understand where you're coming from in terms of trying to make your life simpler. But, there comes a point where somone has to do something to make such an automatic thing happen, regardless of what tools you are using. Create a shortcut on your desktop to the compiled script, and assign that a hotkey is the first thing that comes to mind in terms of solving that one.

My suggestion, if you have the Pro version, would be to use some VBScript code, hook the FileSystemObject library, and use that to do your searching.

I think there is an example in the archives/scripts that does something like that.
