Also tried the recorded on another computer running windows 2000, and still the same.. macro runs fine, but nothing happens (except mousemove) and it eventually closes again after some seconds.

Web recorder dosn't show IE

I've just installed this clever app, but it seems IE dosn't show after recording my macro?

The IEAuto.dll is in place both in the program folder and system32... howcome it dosn't show ?:S

Hm it's not working when I run it in the edit window, and it returns vars_1,
But it's working fine if it's not open, and return the ip. How can this be?

Seperation into variables

Hi I want to read ip and port form a txt file and make them into variables:

I though of ReadLn, to get the line "ip.goes.here:port" but how do i seperate it into 2 variable that I can use for my macro?

Just a simple question: What is the difference between "VBscript" and just "Visual Basic" ? is it like "javascript" and "java" ? I've noticed, that it's possible to make .vbs files, and run them strait in windows, but I thought VBscript was only for web scripting (like javascript) ? well... Visual B...

Is it possible to make a script that could change "_" to a space: " ".

for example:

"this_is_the_text" ---> "this is the text"

I just need to get rid of "the files adress", it's not just only the filename the script returns...

script returns:
c:\files\blabla.mp3

I want it to return:
blabla.mp3

:)
