Ok, I am not sure why, but I had changed the TIME of when to have one of my macros run and it just started working?? I had it previously set to run at 2:20pm and to repeat every 2 minutes and it ran once. I knew this because I had logging enabled plus the script does nothing more than write a timest...

If you mean the Macro Scheduler SERVICE, it is set to log on as the Local System account. I can see that the service is running, it just isn't executing any of it's macros except for one time when you first start either the service or the GUI.

Macroscheduler Service not starting...

Hi All, I'm trying to set up a very simple sheduled task on a windows 2003 server. I can't use the windows task scheduler as it has been disabled by network staff as a security risk. I'm using Macro Scheduler (10.1.15) and have it set to "Keep Scheduling on Exit". I can see that the macro scheduler ...

Thanks for your reply. I knew about the support for TLS/SSL, but I'm interested in support for SFTP. I find trying to script third party tools to transfer files (like WinSCP) unreliable, sometimes it works, sometimes it hangs waiting for user intervention. Support for SFTP would be very welcome. I w...

Thanks for the help. I was beginning to think I needed to just use a loop rather than relying on the EXE getting the time to run settings from macroscheduler.

Create EXE that Persists

Hello, I've looked in the help and searched the forum but can't find an answer to this. How can I create an EXE that will continue to stay in memory and perform its actions? I have a script that is scheduled to run every 5 minutes, but when I create the EXE it only runs once and then exits memory? T...

Does Lite Version have System Service?

I can't seem to tell from any of the documentation or searching the website. Does the LITE version run as a system service? Thanks in advance.

Ok, leaving the advanced option for recovery at "Run Macro at Scheduled Start Time" makes it work. Thanks!

Well I still couldn't make this work. I must be missing something. I can only get the script to run if I have it "Repeat Continuously". If I have it "Stop and reset at/after" it just doesn't do anything. Today I used the following settings: Set the Run When tab to run the script Monday - Friday with...

Ok, I think I understand the rules now. You must schedule a start time in the future. If I want to run from 6am to 6pm, and I created the script at 11am, I need to schedule my script to start intially at 11:01am. Then, after 6pm, I need to come back to macro scheduler and tell it to start at 6am ins...

stop and reset at/after

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to use this feature and it isn't clear to me. I think that it is supposed to let me establish a time to start my macro, and then in stop and reset at/after, I can establish a time for it to stop until the start time comes by again? Do I have this correct? I've been t...

works now..

I'm not sure exactly what the fix was, but I did two things: 1. downloaded and applied 10.1.21 (was using 10.1.15) 2. rebooted. Now it works great, although, I had it installed previously and was playing macros for weeks, I just couldn't record. I had only tried recording a new macro within the last...

Can't record

I've got 10.1.15 installed and I can't record any macros. It is the first time on this workstation I have tried to record macros but it responds just as described above. I tried disabling my print spooler service but that didn't have any effect. I don't have an HP printer (just a network based Lexma...
