Thanks Bob,

In addition to the above I ran Norton WinDoctor 3 times to remove various shortcuts, etc.

Clean uninstall of MS

I am getting persistant hangups using MS and I think this is caused by unclean installs. I would like to start from scratch, but none of my versions are listed in Add Remove Programs.

How do I go about a complete uninstall? Scripts and everything!

Hello, and thank you for this response which however did not work. I am using Windows 2000Pro sp4 and there is something about the Command Prompt that is strange on this system. To run the program from the command prompt I do this: C:\#>cd H:\My Documents\GO\manyfaces\ C:\#>H: C:\#>mfgo.exe This doe...

Speedup help

I have the following sorta generic script which seems to me to be slow and round-about (I believe this was done with much help from Bob for another case where there was a problem, but what is the reason I need to go through the command prompt? I don't seem to be able to just go directly to the progr...

Thanks L. This suggests that it would be more economical for the world if the user base each set up such a thing over the supplier setting it up once. I don't think I have one other program that upgrades regularly or even irregularly that does not include the version number as part of the file name....

Please add version number to download file

Hello, I wonder if we can persuade you to add the version id to the download file? I download to a MS directory with a couple of past versions always kept just in case, but all your versions are named the same. This means I need to create a new folder for each new version. And I always forget to do ...

Call CuteMap tool in TextPad

Another beginners script here convenient if you are always trying to figure out the sizes of images after you have closed your image editing program, or if you are actually putting together a lot of image maps. This takes the image url selected and copied from a TextPad file and opening an instance ...

I think this problem has been solved. TextPad support suggested an upgrade of my video card (after seeing my screenshot of TextPad displaying an image). I have done a few "real" edits since and also a few tests and have not had the problem again. PS: It's not very convenient to copy and paste the sa...

Thanks for the think, Robert, but no, I only use MS from within TP to edit scripts. I havn't got to the point where I have any MS scripts that I use on existing textpad files. This is running MS from a shortcut on my desktop (I dislike items in my systray; or any background-running processes that I ...

Hello again, I have been using this script every day, several times a day now and it is saving me vast amounts of time. The one issue I continue to have is the insertion of garbage text at the end of the file in certain circumstances which I have pretty convincingly narrowed down to being cause by t...

Yes I thought about asking you for the macro but thought you might be doing this for money.

Please send it along, thanks!

Would it be safe to say the third way would be to copy a formerly completed box (such as above) and modify it?
