Cursor Position coords issue
NEVERMIND. I found that this is exactly what you have. (gizmo to follow cursor around). SECOND EDIT: The Program is still in the way. How can I get the little tag to follow the curser around AND minimize the MS control panel etc.? THIRD EDIT: Really, I don't FEEL like I'm having a bad day! OK I thin...

Below is my latest version of this script. Not much changed from the previous version, I have deleted excess "MoveWindow" and "ResizeWindow" commands. But one of the comments in the previous was: "After using Macro Recorder, edit the file and remove the waits, mouse moves, etc." which I do not yet u...

Great help! Thanks. Yes this was partly recorded...recorded bits to see what it was doing, try to solve the problem of getting the buttons to work (didn't solve that one). Another bit that's coming up is going to be the "if" business: if after checking for an update there is an update, download and ...

Running Ad-aware
Hello, I thought I would venture into this another step today and set up one piece of a "Clean-Up" routine I perform almost every night. The part was to run Ad-aware. The below works fine (it does not yet check for updates, but that is another day) but brings me up against two problems: 1. I could n...

thanks cap, I figure this was due to a couple of scraps of code I left dangling at the bottom of the script... took me most of the night to figure out that this is not something a program like MS can stop if it is being caused by the script...in other words, it's not like other programs where if som...

haha I'm running as fast as I can between the boards to keep up with you! This works perfectly, thanks! People doing this must be sure to use all caps for the -EDITOR peramater. PS: It might also be helpful for those using MS to run scripts in TextPad to change the name for this use...I'm using MS-E...

Robert, thank you for this detailed reply. However it slightly misunderstands my intent. I do not intend to use the TextPad macro recorder to create macros. I intend (want to) use TextPad to write the macros to be run by MS. I am used to writing in TextPad, (and i find the MS editor slightly underde...

TextPad Syntax file
I don't know where the responsibility for this one goes, so please advise!
Shouldn't there be a way to make sure that terms such as "program" and "macro" ".exe" etc are not highlighted when they are not commands?
I see that the MS editor does not make these errors, so I'm sure it can be done.

Bug? No R-Click after screwup
If I run a script and hit a snag where it just stops and I click off everything but the control panel, I loose the ability to right click. I need to shut everything down and start again to regain the r-click. This is getting to be a problem. Using TextPad to edit the file (I am going through the tut...

This seems likely to be a two-forum issue. When I use the path: F:\Program Files\MacroScheduler\Macro Scheduler Pro\msched.exe -Editor I get told: "The system cannot find the specified file" Of course I have not specified a file; but in TextPad this is supposed to then run a TextPad macro $File that...

MS editor as stand-alone
I am sure I read somewhere today (I did look and search and looked in the help files) that the MS editor could be used as a stand alone editor. If someone could write out the path to the editor for me I would appreciate it...I can't seem to get it to work using the path contained in the shortcut pro...
