Autologon Windows 2003 Systems

Post by AndyB » Tue Jul 06, 2010 3:05 pm

I am a new user to Macro Scheduler, I downloaded V12.0.4e eval yesterday. I have an application where I need to logon to a windows 2003 Server system RDP session and run scheduled tasks on a GUI based ERP system. I have managed to write the appropriate macros they all work from the desktop. However it appears that support for autologon has been dropped in V12 systems and only works with Vista/Windows 7 systems. A lot of the information I have found on the forum is quite old. Is there an update for this or has anybody got a work around? I have evaluated VisualCron 5 where this was no problem, but I’d prefer to buy a British product.

Hi,

AutoLogon in v12 supports Windows 2008 Server, but not 2003 server.

Prior to Vista/7/2008 there was no safe and reliable mechanism built into Windows for facilitating AutoLogon.
