All of my scripts were deleted.

I am trying out the trial version and somehow my scripts were all deleted. Like one second they were all there, and the next they were gone. I never even visited the folder. I searched these forums and found that all your scripts can be deleted if you run a search on your script. I actually remember running a search sometime just prior to the deletion/disappearance. But it says this issue was fixed. Is it fixed in the trial version too? Or is this still a problem with the full version.

The issue with scripts being deleted after a search was fixed and was a problem with individual scripts not all scripts simultaneously.

Are you sure your scripts are deleted. The macros.dat file found in your scripts root folder contains all of the information for the Macro Scheduler menu including the file names that should be displayed. Crashing Macro Scheduler can cause the file to become empty and therefore the scripts will fail to be displayed in the main menu. See THIS POST for a suggestion on recovery if that is the problem.

This happened to me a few times where I didn't loose the scripts but the data base file with all the groupings becomes corrupt...The really easy solution is to make an MS script that backs up or makes a zipped up copy of all your files, (including all files in the directory and snippets dir) and then setting MS to do that every few hours......+ if you have changed a script and want to go back you can just recover the original.
